Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer/Principal Electrical Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals in defining the future. This position will be located in either Rancho Bernardo, CA or Palmdale, CA.
Key Responsibilities- Thoroughly understand all system requirements, specifications, and interface control documents.
- Prepare, monitor, and update program schedules.
- Conduct and participate in all related design reviews.
- Provide technical guidance to the cross-functional team.
- Collaborate with subsystem responsible engineers, mission management hardware engineers, and system test engineers.
- Support integration of avionics on military aircraft.
- Basic knowledge of design and analysis tools for electronic design.
- Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 0 years of experience for T02.
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain additional Special Access Program (SAP) access.
- Current, active in-scope DoD Secret or higher security clearance.
- Proficiency with Matlab, Simulink, DOORS.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Ability to lead fellow engineers on technical efforts.
$87,200 - $130,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
