The Nurse Manager Medical Surgical will work at a 454-bed acute care hospital that values its commitment to excellence in quality and safety and provides patients and the community with quality and safe care. This full-service facility offers a wide array of specialty services including surgical OR, emergency services ER, cardiology, women’s services OB, and orthopedics. This organization is fully accredited by the Joint Commission and has been recognized for its outstanding performance in patient safety.

As the Nurse Manager Medical Surgical, you will play a critical role in overseeing and guiding the Medical Surgical team. This position places you at the forefront of fostering the professional growth of nursing staff. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to assist with developing, implementing, and reviewing policies and procedures. This role provides an opportunity to make a significant impact on patient outcomes while being part of a collaborative and supportive team. Your role will be supported by a dedicated team of Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, Registered Nurses, and committed staff.

The ideal candidate will have: 

  • Experience working in the inpatient setting
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards
