Central Maine Medical Center is actively recruiting for a full time Gastroenterologist for our Bridgton and Rumford locations. Our health system, which consists of a 250-bed facility in Lewiston and Critical Access Hospitals in both Bridgton and Rumford, employs 400+ providers throughout a wide range of medical and surgical services, with 50% being primary care providers. We place great emphasis on quality and safety, leading to CMMC being recognized with an "A" Leapfrog rating in 2018. Additionally, both Bridgton Hospital and Rumford Hospital were recognized as 2018 Top Rural Hospitals by The Leapfrog Group.
About Our Community:
Maine is a land full of beauty offering beautiful beaches, a rocky coastline, lakes and mountains all within driving distance. This area boasts many recreational opportunities for boating, swimming and fishing; The business district of the town is located on “The Island” located between the Androscoggin River and the canals. The Island features restaurants and retail stores along with the local government offices, Post Office and banking institutions.
