Infiltrator is committed to advancing the state of the art in all fronts, including product design, manufacturing, materials, wastewater science, marketing, management, and employee development. New Product development including engineering concept, design analysis, calculations and problem solving.
Address product design issues with respect to tooling and manufacturing with other team members.
Provides technical support to other departments.
Works directly on the development of prototype parts.
Responsible for CAD design and changes.
Assure technical quality and design process rigor in execution of all assigned tasks.
Must have at least 5+ years designing 3D (physical) products that have a high percentage of plastic materials. Proven creative skills in product design and problem solving (designs should demonstrate high level of innovation, cost effectivity and quality).
Experience with working in a shop environment and ability to make simple prototypes highly desirable.
CAD experience required; SolidWorks preferred. Experience with a range of materials (particularly various plastics) and processes (injection molding, thermoforming).
Must possess a comfort level with (and interest in) working in a very fast paced product development environment where ideation and product design rapidly evolve.
Experience with managing smaller design projects, with ability/aspiration to move toward management of more complex projects.
Expertise with MS Office suite.
