Job Summary and Qualifications Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates the delivery of patient care. Provides administrative direction to development and evaluation of all nursing personnel. Maintains operational aspects of the patient care unit in collaboration with administrative support services. Position responsible for business development of specialty service lines, cancer accreditation oversight, and serve as liaison between providers in relation to operations. Supervisor will work to develop and refine operational efficiency. Contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of the philosophy, objectives, educational and research efforts.
This position oversees the Outpatient clinic within the hospital. The multiple specialty physicians clinic operates Monday-Friday. In addition to supervisory responsibilities, this is an RN role working alongside the staff in the daily operations.
About this Clinic:
- Outpatient Clinic at the Main Hospital, with 12 Exam Rooms (1 specific for Eye doctor)
- Serve broad patient population from age 0 to End of Life; Pain, Oncology, Infusion, Pulmonary, Surgery Patients; Cross Trained to support all areas
- Amazing team work throughout all levels – Collaborating with Provider to provide 1:1 patient care
- Strong team environment, collaboration and communication at the highest level; fast paced, with ton of variety in patient modalities
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- Chemotherapy education required within 1 st year.
- Advanced education in supervision preferred
- Prefer three (3) to five (5) years of experience as a Charge/Staff R.N. Demonstration of supervisory and teaching ability.
