As Beamer’s Vice President of Product, you will report to the CEO as our first-in Product executive. You’ll have an impactful voice in the product community while building and scaling the strategy, roadmaps, and team that will support our multi-product platform through a rapid phase of growth.

You’ll work closely with the CEO to align on priorities, but some of your major areas of ownership will be:

Product Leadership:

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team; foster a collaborative and data-driven approach to product management.
  • Act as a thought leader in the community and communicate our vision in a way that inspires both our user base and our team
  • As a member of the executive leadership team, add to and develop the culture of the broader organization.

Product Lifecycle Management:

  • Drive the growth and development of our core product offerings with an analytical, experimentation mindset.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to delivery, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Prioritize and allocate resources effectively to drive successful product launches.

Market Research and Innovation:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and customer needs to inform product strategy.
  • Drive innovation by identifying new opportunities, features, and enhancements to maintain a competitive edge.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, design and other key stakeholders to drive cohesive product development.
  • Foster strong communication channels to ensure alignment across teams and departments.

Your background:

  • You are a director or vice president-level product leader that has successfully led a smb/mid-market focused product through a rapid phase of growth.
  • You are an active participant in the product management community and have worked hard to build a credible, informed, and respected voice in the space.
  • You’ve previously built and developed high-performing distributed product teams.
  • Data is core to your DNA. You speak, understand, and utilize it fluently.
  • You have a growth and experimentation mindset, you approach challenges with curiosity and an intent to learn.
  • You have a bias for action > words.
  • You’re an owner and an executor. You think strategically but can flex into the weeds while you build your team and focus on operationalizing.
