This is your opportunity to join the Receiver, Exciter, & Back End Processing ( REBEP ) Department as a Principal Embedded Software Engineer . The ideal candidate will have experience in legacy radar hardware and software technologies, with an interest and ability to transition these products to current technologies while maintaining and troubleshooting and patching our deployed systems.
Port legacy Unix tools to modern Linux or identify replacements.
Support software integration, testing, and verification.
Assist in proposal writing.
Occasional travel to other Massachusetts locations.
This 1st shift role will be 100% on-site and based in Marlborough , MA .
Typically requires Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 8 years’ of prior work experience OR an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ of prior work experience.
Embedded C and/or Ada software development experience.
Experience with FPGA development.
Experience developing on VxWorks and Linux/Unix platforms.
S. government issued security clearance is required. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience developing in C++.
