Job Opportunities
Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a  Travel RN - PreOp-PACU
Shift: Nights, 8:30p-7a, 10x4, 40hrs per week
Length: 13 weeks
Holidays are rotated between call teams; all holidays are on call rotations. Will work (2) holidays per year.
Requirements:

SD License 
Must have 1.5 years of experience
Must have Critical Care experience and competencies with ICU cases including hemodynamic drips and ventilated patients. 
Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
BLS
ACLS
PALS
Other Details:

Skills required: IV insertion, ventilator training, epidural/PCA set up/initiation, initiation of blood product transfusions, competency with administration and monitoring of moderate sedation (will not work Intra-op in Endo but would prep and recover), critical thinking
Charting System/Equipment: EPIC
Patient Types: Infants-Geriatric patient population 
Patient Ratios: RN: Pre-Op 1:2-3, PACU 1:1 or 1:2, Phase 2 1:2-4
Float to PreOp, PACU, Endo prep and discharge, Phase 2
Units: PreOp-PACU
