The Nights & Weekends RN is to provide visits to patients with emergent, critical needs in a timely
The Nights & Weekends RN arranges for, teaches, and supervises nursing care of patients in
home care and facility settings in collaboration with other members of the Interdisciplinary Group. The Nights & Weekends RN makes nursing assessments and uses critical thinking skills to provide care based on evidence-based practice.
The Nights & Weekends RN is responsible for supervising LPNs, CNAs, and Continuous Care
The Nights & Weekends RN must have must have at least one year of staff nurse experience in a
comparable setting/unit. Hospice and/or palliative care experience is strongly preferred.
The Nights & Weekends RN must have at least a degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing
The Nights & Weekends RN must have licensure from the governing body for practice for the
Healthcare Provider BLS (CPR)
organize and manage projects within defined timeframe and budget; perform a thorough (telephonic) nursing assessment; professionally manage highly confidential information.
relationships and partnerships with physicians, payers, patients and co-workers; public image for Capital Caring Health by dealing with patients and employees; drive long distances, on a tight schedule, sometimes in heavy traffic; provide physical care to patients.
The ability to input and manage data in patient health information systems and demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and internet browsers.
The ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written or oral form and deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
