Avon Hospital’s 3 rd Floor Medical/Surgical Unit provides care to cardiac, respiratory, wound care, renal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, and post-operative patients. This unit has received many awards, including AORN Go Clear Award, 2021 and United Way Live United Award, 2021.
A caregiver in this position works Nights, from 7:00pm – 7:30am.
Provide direct nursing care.
~ Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
~ Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
~ Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
~ Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
~ One year of current acute care RN experience. Bachelor of science in nursing (BSN).
