Medcor is looking to hire an Registered Nurse full-time to be the Clinic Manager in our employer based, occupational health clinic in Lithonia, GA. The hours for this position are 6:30am -3:00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. The position’s responsibilities include collaborative work with the medical and operational leadership at Medcor, local medical providers, client staff, and key contacts within the client’s corporate structure. You will provide first aid care and treatment by triaging an employee after an injury following our step-by-step care protocols, and supporting the employees with wellness, education and teaching. You will also be responsible for the daily operations of the clinic, including ordering supplies and following compliance processes. You will be working independently, with support available by the operations manager and other Medcor staff remotely.
A typical day in the life of a Medcor Worksite Health Technician:
~Participate in daily operations at Medcor’s on-site clinic
~Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs)
~Support for onsite employee health and wellness efforts
~Documentation of care using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools
~Perform Medical Surveillance screening and testing
~Medical charting
Have strong computer and other technology skills (navigate cell phones, texting, fax machines, etc), as well as familiarity with EMR software
~Be passionate about people and giving them the best care humanly possible
~You are comfortable working in a worksite clinic environment
You have relevant occupational health experience
You have experience in emergency medicine or critical care
