Location of Position

Fully remote, with a preference for candidates residing in Illinois and within a commutable distance from the western suburbs of Chicago (1st preference), on Central Time (2nd preference), or on Eastern Time (3rd preference).

Experience/ Requirements• A bachelor's degree in business or a related field is

required, a master's degree is highly preferred.

The ideal candidate will have achieved excellence in their field of study, demonstrated by a high GPA• Established expertise in a senior leadership capacity, with a preference for experience as a Managing Director or Consultant within an agency, or as a Chief Human Resources Officer for a client organization.• Demonstrated perseverance and persistent dedication essential for sustained business development efforts.• A pre-existing network established within a prominent sector.• A heightened level of emotional intelligence (EQ), facilitating the establishment of meaningful connections with both existing clients and potential prospects.• Strong strategic thinking and business acumen.• Excellent leadership and team management skills.• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities

In collaboration with internal management and client leadership, the Managing Director holds the responsibility of expanding our client network and transforming client relationships into viable sales opportunities. Additionally, this role involves overseeing and managing retained executive search positions, with a specific focus on:

Client Relationships & Business Development:• Grow client base by effectively presenting Spirit Consulting's full range of services and learning company capacities within each industry.

o Travel to meet in person with clients to build reliable, sustainable, and mutually beneficial relationships with key clients buying influences to create continual opportunities for business across our service lines.

o Develop customized business solutions based on customer needs that effectively articulate and differentiate products' value proposition from competitors, internal and external.

o Grow industry relationships to effectively network business development opportunities• Build internal relationships with affiliate companies to maximize referral business and generate own book of business.• Identify and capitalize on market trends and business opportunities.• Demonstrate strategic selling approach to identify, target and penetrate companies with needs appropriate to company's services and products.• Grow revenue of executive search and I/o psychology divisions by strategically positioning services at all decision-making levels throughout the search process.• Represent Spirit Consulting at industry events, conferences, and other networking opportunities, acting as a brand ambassador, promoting the organization's values and mission.

Search Execution, Client Management:• Lead, mentor, and inspire diverse project teams, composed of clients, candidates, recruiters, and contractors, promoting a collaborative and inclusive work environment.• Contributing to the internal search strategy meetings by presenting ideal organizations and talent to target, drafting or updating the client's role description, and tracking candidate and prospective client information in the company database.• Generating interest in the search pipeline by selling opportunities to prospective candidates or generating referrals.• Interviewing, preparing and assessing candidates to establish qualifications and fit for clients, facilitating the entire executive recruitment process.• Managing timeline and hiring expectations with clients across multiple positions and service areas by fulfilling roles the firm is retained on.• Leveraging project management disciplines, in person and written communication techniques, conflict resolution, and other necessary business skills.• Overseeing the invoicing and accounts receivable processes for each executive search project. #J-18808-Ljbffr
