Canvassing Training Manager - Window & Door Industry*
\*\*\* Approximately - In the field 70% and 30% office
*The Regional Canvassing Manager will be responsible for working with on-staff recruiters to hire, train, mentor, and manage new canvassers & canvass managers in 2 branch locations (St Petersburg and Ft Myers) to effectively set appointments with homeowners and meet lead & demo expectations.
Use and develop training materials and curriculum for new/current canvassers, including presentations, role-playing scenarios, and hands-on activities.
· Conduct training sessions for new / poor performing canvassers, both in group settings and one-on-one in the classroom and in the field.
· Provide ongoing support and coaching to canvassers & new canvass managers as they gain experience in the field.
· Monitor the performance of canvassers & canvass managers and provide feedback for improvement.
· Collaborate with Director of Marketing to identify areas for improvement in the training program.
· Go to the Ft Myers office as needed to recruit, hire train canvassers and canvass van managers in the office and in the field.
· Write and set appointments in the field to ensure that Sunbelt’s appointment requirements are met.
· Run a canvass van / team to fill in for canvass managers’ PTO, vacation or illnesses as needed.
· Train and mentor canvass managers on the correct way to pick territory using Sales Rabbit, handle drops and pickups, deal with HR issues, coach and mentor their employees for optimal results.
· Maintain accurate records of hiring, training activities and participant progress.
*Proven track record of success in training staff.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
· Willingness to travel as needed.
