WHO WE ARE: The Point Quest Therapeutic Services group is an amazing village of SLPs, OTs, PTs, school psychologists and special educators who work collaboratively with school districts on site, and via telehealth, as needed. We integrate with educational teams to provide the highest level of support for our students and stakeholders.


As a member of the Point Quest Group, you will be provided with exceptional support from day one. Our team of Therapeutic Talent Specialists, with their own notable backgrounds as SPED providers, provide support with professional needs including scheduling, caseload management, capacity building, session planning, and leadership training. Our goal is to encourage and equip you with the skills and resources you need to make a maximum impact in our helping community. Point Quest is a pioneering organization dedicated to providing high-quality speech and language services. We are partnering with a network of well-respected school district in the SE Houston Metro area that is looking for highly motivated, passionate SLPs for full-time positions for the 2024-25 school year.

Plan and provide appropriate individual, group, and classroom-based therapeutic services to students consistent with speech and language goals as written in the Individual Education Plans (IEP).
Evaluate effectiveness and outcomes of treatment/response to therapy interventions (RTI) to identify student progress and/or determine readiness for termination of therapy services.

Conduct independent evaluations to assess students with speech or language disorders and conditions to determine eligibility for services by making decisions based on what is best for the student.
Develop clinical management strategies or procedures and diagnostic statements by interpreting observations or data.

Provide professional development in assigned schools to help school personnel identify and understand communication deficits in students.
Communicate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents about the student's therapy goals and educational needs.
Participate in the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process to assist in interpretation of assessment data, appropriate placement, and goal setting for students with communication disorders or conditions according to district procedures.

Prepare and submit, as directed, all case documentation, including evaluation data, treatments, clinical and progress notes and required billing information according to company policy.
Write and maintain confidential client case notes and reports.
Maintain an attendance register in accordance with the Service Page of the IEP and the Individual Service Agreement (ISA) for each student.
Adapt educational materials and equipment to provide intervention and/or meet the individual students needs.
Collect data on student achievements to document activities, prepare reports and/or updating IEP logs.
Maintain and prepare a variety of manual and electronic materials (e.g., charts, logs, records and/or reports) to document activities, provide written reference, convey information, and/or comply with mandated requirements.
Maintain high and low-tech augmentative communication devices and equipment and have familiarity with symbol-based software such as Boardmaker Online.
Supervise the work of speech-language pathology assistant(s).


Current, active TX state license as a Speech Language Pathologist, or be eligible for licensure.
Computer-literate; knowledge of standard company software applications, internet
Proficient language and communication skills, including business writing and professional telephone manners.
