Principal Systems Engineering - Solution Manager , for one of our premier programs in the business unit. Principal Systems Engineering - Solution Manager you will lead a team of 50+ employees distributed across multiple locations. In this role you will manage cost & schedule with an expected budget exceeding $25M+. You will work closely with the enterprise leading the mission through final development, integration, test, and perform cost estimation of Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) for scope changes.
In this role you will be responsible for the mission cost, schedule, and technical performance baseline as well as ensuring the mission requirements come together technically for each delivery. You will work directly with Program leadership, Systems and Software Teams and other Integrated Product Team Leads (IPTL’s) and external stakeholders to execute a multi-million dollar sub-contract.
Work in an Agile program environment
Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or related Technical field with a minimum 10+ years' relevant or equivalent experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations
Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience with ground based satellite mission management and command and control systems
Experience leading Agile/DevSecOps teams
Experience leading Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs with responsibility over cost, schedule, and technical performance
Experience providing technical Systems Engineering plans
Strong analytical and problem solving abilities as well as demonstrated ability to effectively work with and communicate with management and individual contributors
Experience leading large (50 ppl+) Engineering Teams on Defense and/or Intelligence Programs with responsibility over cost, schedule, and technical performance
Cloud technologies and migration to the Cloud, Containerization and databases, Automation (Build, Deploy, Test), Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, etc.), Software Engineering Experience, developing, testing, and integrating code
