As an Operations Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the operational aspects of our vessel agency business. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our operations.

  • Port Agency Manager Responsibilities*
  • Manage and coordinate all aspects of vessel operations, including arrivals, departures, and port activities
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, international standards, and company policies
  • Collaborate with port authorities, customs, and other relevant stakeholders
  • Lead and inspire a team of operations staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team skills and knowledge
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely and effective mannerCoordinate logistics and supply chain activities related to vessel operations
  • Optimize processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
  • Monitor and manage operational budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness
  • Implement strategies to improve financial performance and profitability
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure a safe and secure working environment
  • Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
  • Port Agency Manager Position Requirements*
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field
  • Proven experience in operations management within the maritime or vessel agency industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of international shipping regulations and procedures.
