This role will support the operations and maintenance of custom solutions and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) activities in Aurora, CO and Boulder, Colorado. There are some specialized skillsets for this role: experience with assessing systems vulnerabilities and verifying system hardening and patching activities to ensure compliance with the most current applicable Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)/Security Requirements Guides (SRGs) and related checklists, performing and providing vulnerability assessment results and recommendations to the leadership and leading Cyber team to deliver multiple Accreditation packages, including updating eMASS with assistance of USG.
*Ensure security compliance and vulnerability scanning/remediation across multiple platforms and networks

* Assisting in defining of cyber requirements and design solutions, providing guidance and direction related to security technologies, performing analysis on cybersecurity collected data and test results, identifying, and implementing cybersecurity design, and preparing and maintaining engineering and security related documentation

* Applying knowledge of current IA policies as a contributor to the architecture and design of secure solutions to customer needs and requirements

*Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5+ years of engineering experience in cyber security

* S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

* Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST 800-37, Continuous Monitoring IAW NIST 800-137, Patching IAW NIST 800-40, NIST 800-53 and CNSSI 1253

* Experience with vulnerability assessment and analysis experience utilizing Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and DISA STIGs

* 01 IAT-II for a Linux environment (e.g., Security+ CE and Linux OS Certification); Knowledge of secure coding practices and enforcement through DevSecOps pipelines

* Experience with Agile, Scrum, HW and SW life-cycle management, & engineering change proposal processes

* Experience with cyber security engineering projects and programs for U.Hands-on technical experience as an individual contributor with documented skills and experience in one or more of the following areas: Linux system administration, COTS and/or FOSS patch management/deployment experience

* Experience with logical access control systems such as IdM and user account management and collaborating w/ teams for security functionality to meet cyber requirements
