Are you interested in continuing your nursing career in an innovative educational environment , while making an impact on the next generation of nurses? The new Mercy Hospital Fort Smith Dedicated Education Unit is an 18-bed unit focused on teaching eager and upcoming graduate nurses the fundamental skills necessary to be successful. We are looking to build a team of highly engaged nurses who have a passion for education, patient care, and best practices. This unit will care for Medical Telemetry patients with a 4:1 patient to nurse ratio (day shift only). Each nurse will act as a preceptor to two senior level nursing students who will take total care of the 4 patients. A clinical rotation preceptor will also be available for support/oversight of the students . By joining the Dedicated Education Unit at Mercy, you will have a direct impact on the future of nursing , while progressing your leadership skillset for YOUR future in nursing

Education Pathway: LPN to RN
~$10,000 in Assistance for LPN to RN
~ Tuition Reimbursement $2,000 per year

Relocation Assistance up to $3,000 per policy

New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $7.Education : Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program; Consideration will be given for comparable education experience and successful licensure.
Licensure : Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining a current LPN license within the hiring state in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all State Board of Nursing requirements
