Genie Healthcare is seeking a LPN for a 13 Weeks in Greenwood, WV

Shift: 3x12s Nights
Hourly Rate: $48
Settings: Corrections
Duties:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Assist in medical procedures and examinations
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any deviations to the healthcare team
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records
- Provide primary care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician
- Implement infection control measures to ensure a safe healthcare environment
- Utilize Cerner or similar electronic health record systems for documentation
- Collaborate with the healthcare team in case management and patient care coordination
- Perform laboratory duties such as specimen collection and processing
- Assist with medical imaging procedures as needed
- Demonstrate experience in administering injections, inhalation therapy, and enteral feeding
Requirements:
- Valid LPN license in WV
- Proven experience as an LPN in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of medical practices and procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner or other electronic health record systems
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medical documentation
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and practices
