We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Wexford Health Sources, Inc. in a correctional healthcare setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to individuals in our facilities.
Responsibilities- Assist in the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse, assist in the assessment of patients' physical, psychological, and social dimensions.
- Implement medical plans through administering medications and interventions in accordance with provider instructions.
- Document nursing encounters, patient response, effectiveness, complications, etc., and communicate information to supervisory personnel and physicians.
- Assist in maintaining working and living areas and supplies in good order.
- Participate in a nursing care and treatment team and assist physicians as assigned.
- Current, unrestricted STATE Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) License.
- Current CPR Certification.
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
- Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience; correctional experience preferred.
