We are looking for a Registered Nurse Resident Care Manager who is patient, tactful, organized, and genuinely interested in enriching the lives of seniors.
Wage Range $51 - $53 per hour DOE
Have completion of a Nurse (RN) degree from an accredited school of nursing;
• Have a genuine interest in caring for elderly residents and working in a geriatric environment;
• Have the ability to plan, direct, and implement resident care program in a geriatric nursing environment; geriatric nursing experience desirable;
• Be capable of assessing resident’s status and communicate the appropriate plan of action;
• Have the ability to maintain a balance between resident’s safety needs and independent levels of functioning;
• Have the ability to document medical treatments and application of care professionally and evaluate effectiveness in the care plan;
• Share in the weekend on-call nurse manager rotation;
• Provide support to the licensed nurses and certified nursing assistants of the skilled nursing team
• Be able to maintain patient and tactful composure when dealing with residents, family members, staff members, and visitors
• Physically capable of turning, stooping, bending, stretching, moving equipment, and performing other related tasks;
• or the equivalent of one-half of an adult (as in a two-person transfer);
• Must be able to cover the expanse of the campus to give residents care and treatment necessary;
• Must be able to explain clearly to potential residents, families, and employees the policies and procedures of the facility;
