Job Summary:
HCA Florida Fort Walton-Destin Hospital is assisting a strong and stable multi-specialty group (23 different specialties) to recruit an Internal Medicine physician Qualified Candidates:- Board certified or board eligible (will be required to take the test after completing residency)
- No Visa support available
- Office hours: Monday – 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
- Average number of patient’s per day-20
- Call schedule- 1 day per week for the clinic only, Mon-Friday 8-6 pm
- First 2 years will be associate contract position; then there is the option to be voted in as a Shareholder

- Paid time off 20 business days of PTO, Clinic closed 6 holidays, 5 CME Days, Total per year: 31 days
- FWDH: 309 bed HCA level 2 trauma facility (expansion underway adding an additional 30 beds next year)
- Medical ICU- 33 beds (plus an additional 8 CVICU beds)
- Stealth navigation system with O arm and Mazor spine robot
- Certified primary stroke center working towards comprehensive stroke certification
- Currently hosting 3rd and 4th year D.O. students from Auburn’s VCOM (D.O.) School
- Will have IM residency program in 2024
- Named among the top 10% in the nation by Healthgrades for cardiac surgery, joint replacement, and patient safety
- Listed as 4th highest in the nation for infection prevention by Consumer Reports
- Area’s only accredited Chest Pain Center, Primary Stroke Center and cardiac program offering open heart surgery, Watchman, and TAVR
