Seeking Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a well-trained Nurse Practitioner to join the Department of Psychiatry of Westchester Medical Center Health Network (WMCHealth). The ideal candidate will have a track record of clinical accomplishments in the treatment of patients with serious mental illness, and will provide services to children and adolescents, including triage, diagnostic evaluations, follow-up care, prescribing, and individual counseling and group treatment as part of a multidisciplinary team. Training/License:
Applicants must have a Masters degree in Nursing, Nurse Practitioner certification in Psychiatry, and a valid New York State license as a Nurse Practitioner.
An academic appointment to New York Medical College, if appropriate.
Collaboration with and support of an integrated team of Behavioral Health professionals.

In addition to receiving patients directly from WMCs Emergency Medical Services Department, BHC is also a major transfer center for patients requiring psychiatric hospitalization from across the Lower Hudson Valley.
WMC Advanced Physician Services PC (APS) employs doctors and mid-level clinicians working in WMCHealths hospital-based and community-based clinical programs including at Mid-Hudson Regional.
