Overview:

FutureCare Irvington has an outstanding opportunity for a high energy leader to help take our quality to new heights. Irvington is a 200-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center with a 50-bed ventilator unit. FutureCare Irvington is located on a scenic 15-acre campus near Catonsville, Maryland. This facility includes an on-site hemodialysis center and a significant compliment of physician, NP and PA support. In addition to the expansive grounds, the facility has ample parking, 48 private rooms, a large rehabilitation space, with state-of-the-art equipment, and extensive common areas and storage. The FutureCare Corporate Education Department is housed at this location which is ideal for ongoing staff education.

The Executive Director/Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) will use their high-level skilsl, knowledge, and competence to lead 250 employees in providing outstanding care and customer service to the diverse and clinically complex group of patients and residents that we serve. The ideal candidate we seek must have the ability to implement and maintain consistent systems, effectively grow our targeted business, achieve 5-star quality measures and industry leading metrics while delivering outstanding regulatory outcomes. Responsibilities:
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of FutureCare Health Center in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations
  • Assure that the highest degree of quality care is provided to residents at all times.
  • As Director, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties
  • Adopt and implement innovative practices to improve care and operations
  • Ensure that nursing staff remains in compliance with professional development and regulatory standards
  • Monitor and manage labor and expense controls.
  • Ensure monthly financial goals and targets are met
  • Maintain a healthy, collaborative team environment
  • Assure the highest level of customer services is delivered to our residents, families and team members

Qualifications:
  • Current Nursing Home Admistrator (NHA) license in the state of Maryland
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or a related field
  • Masters degree in Health Administration, Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 3+ years' Administrator experience with Skilled Nursing
  • A strong desire to deliver care in an empathetic, compassionate way
  • Superb organizational management, budget, and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
