Job Posting Summary SIGN ON 7,500 LABOR AND DELIVERY NURSE We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Labor and Delivery team in Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time night shift position in our high-risk, Level III, Labor and Delivery unit at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. As a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery at Baptist Jacksonville you will: * Provide for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process * Organize and supervision care provided by supportive personnel * Coordinate care provided by ancillary services * Include patients and families in developing and individualized plan of care * Serve as the patient advocate and responsible for nursing care for high-risk obstetrical patients including outpatient services and additional surgical procedures * Uphold the hospital mission statement * Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities If you are interested in a rewarding career with a Magnet designated hospital, Apply Today or email Cheryl.Burritt@bmcjax.com Full/Part Time Full-Time Shift Details Nights Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing Experience * 1-2 years Medical Surgical Nursing Experience * Less than 1 year Newborn Nursery Experience * Less than 1 year Mother/Baby Nursing Experience Licenses and Certifications * Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Required * Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification Required * Basic Life Support (BLS) Required * Registered Nurse Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring (RNC EFM) Preferred * Licensed Registered Nurse Required Location Overview For more than 20 years, health care consumers have named Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville the "most preferred healthcare provider" in the region.
