We are currently seeking a talented Construction Estimator to join our team and contribute to the success of our projects.
Estimator Shift Details:
8-hour shift
Day shift
Monday to Friday; In this vital role, you will work with the sales team in finalizing costs associated with high-end residential remodeling projects. Your expertise will directly impact the financial success and efficiency of our operations by providing precise cost estimations and supporting the creation of competitive bids that meet both client expectations and company goals. Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field; Strong understanding of residential remodeling practices/procedures, materials, project management principles, and estimating practices
- High proficiency with Excel-based estimating programs; Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, blueprints, and technical documents
- Creative problem solver with the ability to manage a high information load
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently
- Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction regulations
- Ability to work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and sales
Use historic data gathered from job autopsies and budget reports to update and maintain the estimating database in WinEstimator
- Provide a preliminary project cost estimate based on historical project data and client needs
- Perform a full estimation of costs, using WinEstimator, to determine the overall estimated cost of the project by calculating the complete scope of work
- Establish change order pricing per requests submitted by Project Managers and design team members
- Producing construction contracts to include terms and conditions and detailed specifications
- Work with the sales team to prepare and submit bids and proposals for potential projects
- Populate project budgets and labor exports upon sale of contracts
