Job Description

The Section of Cardiology at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, University Health, and University Health Physicians seek staff faculty members for a Non-Invasive Cardiology role. The individual should have the clinical, academic, and personal skills to contribute to an active academic section. This is a full-time position.

Practice Highlights

  • Team of 5 Cardiologists, 2 Interventional Cardiologists and 6 advanced practice registered nurses
  • Expected clinical responsibilities include inpatient rounding at University Health Truman Medical Center and outpatient consultative work at two practice sites.
  • Fully wired with CERNER – Power Chart

Job Summary:

University Health is seeking a non-invasive cardiologist to join their team in expanding our academic cardiovascular services.

• Flexible Call rotation

• Academic practice and academic appointment, with integrated teaching and clinical research

• Collegial environment including other seasoned specialists

Qualified Candidates:

• Board certified or board eligible in cardiology or interventional cardiology

• Eligible for state licensure in the state of Missouri

• State of the art Cath Lab, echo, CMRI, CTA, and Nuclear labs

• H1 / J1 candidates are welcome to apply
