Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, the CMU Sales Rep’s primary responsibility is to generate and manage material sales while providing the utmost service to the Mason Contractor and Masonry Dealers in their market. The role includes both new sales opportunities and the management of current sales from opportunity stage through job closeout; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Construction Management or Concrete Technical degree preferred. Concrete Masonry and especially Structural CMU (Concrete Masonry Unit) experience strongly preferred.
A Structural CMU Sales Rep needs to be an extension of the Mason Contractors staff with focus first and foremost on Service. The Sales Rep contributes significantly to the Customer’s success and becomes a valuable partner and trusted colleague, therefore solid communication and reasoning skill are necessary. The Sales Reps actions directly mirror Basalite’s core values.
Fluid use of laptop, cell phone, PDA’s and solid knowledge and use of basic computer software programs required i.e., Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook.
