With our rigorous procedures and quality assurance measures, Elliot Hospital can guarantee that all medical instruments are processed with the utmost precision and quality before being used. We strive to make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible and are always committed to providing a safe and healthy environment.
Responsible for the decontamination, preparation and sterilization of supplies, instruments, and equipment.
Decontaminates, prepares, and sterilizes equipment and supplies per Elliot Hospital and infection control rules.
Reports broken equipment and supplies to shift leader and manager immediately for follow-up.
Labels and assembles healthcare instrument trays.
Maintains steam, sterrad, and biological monitoring records.
Answers phone calls.
Certified Registered Central Services Technician (CRCST), Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required.
