Northern CA San Francisco Bay Area (Physician/MD qualifications required) Cardiothoracic Surgery - The MarinHealth Haynes Cardiovascular Institute, home to one of the most respected cardiac surgery program in the region, is seeking an exceptional cardiac surgeon to join their expanding team. MarinHealth Medical Center is the only hospital to offer vascular and open-heart surgery in Marin County --just across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco. This position is a joint recruitment between MarinHealth and UCSF with employment through UCSF. This critical physician position offers an exciting growth opportunity with the availability of a Medical Director role with strong clinical, administrative, philanthropic, and marketing support.

The ideal M.D. or D.O. candidate must be board-certified with the ABTS and licensed or eligible for licensure in California. CT Surgeons should be proficient in various aspects of adult cardiothoracic surgery and committed to quality, patient safety, and multidisciplinary teamwork. Candidates must possess leadership experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and an interest in building a strong Cardiothoracic Program in Marin and the broader North Bay. Post graduate experience is preferred, but not required.

Compensation aligns with national benchmarks, is based on experience, and ranges between $660K and $1,230,000.
