The Role:

As the Vice President of Sales, you will be a key figure in our company, a pioneering venture within a prominent global organization. Reporting directly to the president of a new startup, your role involves leveraging your network to provide a product that enhances employee engagement and retention while addressing employers' needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify potential clients, generate leads, and prioritize them for increased conversion rates.
  2. Sales Strategy & Execution: Utilize product knowledge to deliver compelling presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals effectively.
  3. Relationship Building: Foster strong client relationships by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  4. Team Leadership & Development: Lead sales efforts initially and build a dedicated sales team.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, refine sales techniques, and incorporate customer feedback for product and sales enhancement.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree required, preference for candidates with a graduate degree.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 8 years in direct employer voluntary benefit sales, including broker channel experience. At least 5 years in successful sales or sales leadership roles with a track record of meeting targets.
  3. Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, resilience, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a startup environment.
  4. Commitment: Dedication to continuous learning and improving sales strategies and product knowledge.
