Technician - Heavy Equipment

The Fleet Technician's primary purpose will require the individual to perform preventative and corrective maintenance on fleet vehicles and equipment including gas and diesel engines, dock doors and rack moles.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st Shift, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm

Troubleshoot, diagnose and complete repairs on all types of fleet and warehouse equipment including but not limited to: Electric Forklifts, Floor Scrubber, Electric Pallet Jacks, Company Pickup Truck, Pallet Moles, and Dock Door
Performs preventative maintenance on all Fleet and dock doors using prescribed checklists along with identifying and reporting all unsafe conditions.
Complete work orders in a timely manner maintaining high quality standards
Manage parts inventory and accurately charging parts and labor to work orders
Perform inspections of work performed by outside vendors prior to putting back in-service
Perform mechanical repairs including engine, clutch, oil changes, greasing, transmission, brake repairs, tire changes hoses, belts, fluids and wiring, hydraulic systems, lighting, other electrical systems
Respond to fleet service calls, pick-up and delivery of vehicles and parts
Maintain shop tools and equipment to company standards
Experience with commercial truck repair in manufacturing environment preferred.
Mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting
Basic electrical troubleshooting
Welding skills a plus
Must be able to pass all medical exams, drug and background checks (including criminal).
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
