About the Burn Unit

Opportunity to care for a specialized patient population in a supportive and educational setting
Perform medical record reviews to examine and assess provider documentation and to ensure patient severity of illness and health acuity is accurately reflected
~ Perform prospective, concurrent and retrospective review of various types of patient medical records from multiple settings.
~ The Clinical Reviewer assessments also provide guidance for ongoing provider coaching, training and facilitation. Adheres to policies, procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
~ Reviews, amends and submits data for the ABA Burn Repository and compliance for Burn Center Verification.
~ Other duties as needed related to the Burn Center data requirements.
3 years of hospital experience required, experience in Quality a plus
~ knowledge of Quality Improvement methodology and team facilitation
