It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) Registered Nurse Surgical IMU PRN. We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Surgical Intermediate Unit for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Staff RN assigned to the Surgical Intermediate Unit cares for adult and geriatric surgical and orthopedic patients We are an amazing team that works hard to support each other, and we are seeking a phenomenal addition like you who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. You will plan and prioritize age and specialty appropriate care of each patient assigned by communicating relevant information to appropriate healthcare professionals
takes nursing history assessment to identify nursing diagnosis/patient care needs
You will evaluate the patient/family response to, and outcome(s) of, implemented care and modifies the plan of care accordingly
You will implement and direct care, using the nursing process with emphasis on the needs of individual Telemetry patients
You will promote, initiate or coordinate interdisciplinary care provision in an open communication system with patients, nursing personnel, physicians, clergy, and with all other persons who influence patient progress
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required
~ 1 year of experience in an acute care setting preferred
