Experience or Residency training preferred
Our highly trained Optometrists practice medical optometry, to the highest scope of practice, working closely and co-managing patients with our ophthalmologists.
State of the art diagnostic testing, including OCT, Pentacam, Visual Fields, and Optos Fundus photography
Position supported by ophthalmic technicians who will provide patient work up and testing

~ For more information, please contact Geisinger Physician Recruiter: Sarah Lipka, slipka1@geisinger.diagnose related systemic (body-wide) conditions such as hypertension and diabetes that may affect the eyes; examine, diagnose and treat visual conditions such as nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and presbyopia; Interviews patients to obtain information such as symptoms, medical histories, and family histories. Work is typically performed in a clinical and office environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Additional competencies outlined in any department-specific orientation will be considered essential to the performance of the job related to that position.
