· SOVAH Health in Martinsville, VA., is seeking a PRN Radiation Therapist whose responsibilities include the planning of radiation therapy which includes localization of target volume, construction of blocks and immobilization devices, and the calculation of the radiation dose. Accurately deliver radiation treatment and ensure correct parameters, appropriate documentation, and the maintenance of audible and visual communication during treatment. 
Is responsible for planning radiation therapy treatment which includes the localization of the target volume, construction of custom blocks and immobilization devices, calculation of radiation dose, and other planning procedures as required.
Accurately delivers the prescribed course of Radiation therapy treatment assuring the correct treatment perimeters, appropriate documentation, and maintenance of visual and audible communication during treatment.
Is responsible for the proper operation and safety of equipment used to localize and deliver Radiation Therapy.
Assists in the preparation, insertion, and film verification of radioactive materials as required.
Completion of ARRT-approved course in Radiation Therapy.
