Overview:

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will use your customer service and leadership experience to provide a white-glove experience for our customers, offering a multitude of products to fit their needs. Working closely with the Store Manager to develop your leadership skills in real-time, you will help coach our Customer Service Representatives and play a key role in helping the team produce results. In return, we will help you reach the next level in your career by providing an ongoing comprehensive training and development program that will allow you to truly shine. Responsibilities:

Provide an exceptional customer experience throughout the full cycle of the loan process by educating consumers and making recommendations based on their financial needs.

 

Oversee account management, including collection calls and recovery processes while maintaining a focus on customer service to prevent loss and charge-off accounts.

 

Develop customer relationships and complete inbound and outbound call campaigns daily to build new business, maintain store profitability, and further brand loyalty and recognition.

 

Maximize customers’ success by offering ancillary products that fit their needs. 

 

Provide support, coaching, and development to Customer Service Representatives in order to improve the team’s potential.

 

Help ensure a work environment that upholds compliance with Company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws and regulations.

 

Monitor and maintain internal and external store appearance and cleanliness, addressing basic facility needs and scheduling maintenance services. 

 

Maintain office security protocols and conduct proper opening and closing procedures, including management of vault and cash drawer.

 

Engage in ongoing training and remain updated on our evolving products and processes.

 

Work efficiently in a rapidly changing environment and handle multiple challenging tasks with ease to meet individual and team performance standards.

 

Maintain a full-time work schedule with regular, in-person attendance, including weekends. A full-time work schedule for this position includes, at a minimum, 40 hours per week.*

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 3 months of supervisory, key holder, or relevant leadership experience
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service, sales, or retail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work phone, Point of Sale, Microsoft Office, and other systems
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Background check required (subject to applicable law)
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of this position, which frequently include: the ability to remain in a stationary position, including standing up to 90% of the time, the ability to move and transport up to 25 pounds, the ability to move about inside and outside of the store, and the operation of mechanical controls, such as a keyboard.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

  • Associate degree or higher
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus and may be required for certain locations
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and personal vehicle to use throughout the workday (mileage compensated)
