Inova Behavioral Health Services, situated at the Inova Loudoun Hospital - Cornwall Campus, is actively seeking a part-time compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. As a leading healthcare provider in Northern Virginia, Inova Behavioral Health Services is committed to delivering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient behavioral healthcare to individuals in need.
Shift: 2 x 12 hrs. Night shift
The Registered Nurse provides knowledgeable and caring clinical practice and care coordination through an understanding of patients, families, nurses and healthcare delivery teams. Consistently provides safe and therapeutic care in a holistic and systematic way while incorporating differences into the provision of care and conducting all patient care in a patient/family centered manner. Determines processes for delivery of care from direct patient/family communication, technology and other healthcare team member collaboration.
Performs comprehensive patient health assessments by interpreting multiple data sets and synthesizing their interrelationships
- Formulates individualized plans of care based on assessment findings and interpreting trends in patient populations to achieve best practice
- Conducts all patient care in a patient and family centered manner, integrating knowledge, skills and experiences to meet the needs of patients and families throughout the continuum of care
- Accesses resources from all disciplines to achieve desired patient outcomes and coordinates healthcare and alternate services for patient/family transition planning
Experience - 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse, 1 year of specialty RN experience if required by unit
- Education - Bachelor's Degree Nursing or Associate's Degree from accredited school of nursing.
