In this 1st shift role you will support the production floor of the Hardware Integration Center (HWIC) in a highly visible test engineering role on a resurging PATRIOT radar production contract for multiple U.As a Radar Systems Test Engineer II an opportunity exists to learn and master the complex testing process of the PATRIOT radar. Support a fluid production environment in a test engineering role on the PATRIOT radar program.
Work from schematics and drawings to understand radar diagnostic failures and troubleshoot utilizing common test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, power meters, oscilloscopes, etc.
Perform root cause analysis on systemic radar issues and flow back to feeder areas to help in the troubleshooting of failed subassemblies.
Work diligently with union technicians on a daily basis throughout the test process.
Interact daily with operations, quality, process/mechanical, and production control (PC) regarding most urgent immediate needs in test.
Review system level test data for compliancy toward specifications.
Develop/update factory test procedures as needed.
Overtime (paid) may be required on an as needed basis.
Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
~2 years of Production or Systems Integration and Test experience.
~ S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Prior experience testing PATRIOT radars is highly desirable, but not required.
Demonstrated ability to interpret failing test data and navigate schematic diagrams to diagnose fault modes.
Ability to understand radar systems technology in the areas of test and analysis.
Strong working knowledge of RF test equipment.
Experience preparing and executing factory test procedures.
Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements that will require working overtime shifts to support schedule as needed.
Exceptional attention to detail to identify and document any anomalies or inconsistencies in the radar test process.
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills with proficiency utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Familiarity with Common PDM, using it to look up assembly drawings, parts lists, schematics, and test requirement specifications.
Can operate under minimal supervision and works independently.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
