*The Position *

Due to recent VC investment, our client is seeking a Field Operations Technician. The Technician will lead installation, troubleshoot, and repair of new and existing systems as the company continues to grow its customer base.

The ideal candidate is an excellent project manager, customer service oriented, and has a strong technical background in a relevant field including commercial water systems, HVAC, electrical systems, and mechanical systems.

Primary responsibilities include:
* Lead troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, preventative maintenance, and emergency services repairs on appointed electrical and mechanical testing equipment to ensure uninterrupted production/analyzing data flow.
* Install, diagnose, and repair new and existing mechanical systems, electrical systems, plumbing systems and equipment per written instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings.
* Ability to execute, lead, and train co-workers and third-party vendors to install, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical testing equipment and components.
* Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service.
* Maintain effective communication with the KETOS Operations team and Customer Success Team
* Ensure proper safety techniques and equipment is used to promote and ensure a safe job site. Maintains a safe, clean, and orderly work area.

*Qualifications and Candidate Background *

The ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor’s degree – nice to have but not required.
* Background in mechanical and electrical systems including test instruments, pipe fittings and valves, low voltage control systems, rotating machinery, electrical circuits.
* Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematic, and technical drawings. Excellent organizational, logistical, and analytical skills.
* Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to consistently meet deadlines
* Positive attitude with a growth mindset and strong bias toward action Excellent communication skills with ability to build strong relationships at all levels
* Proficient in Excel, Google Spreadsheets, etc with a desire to continuously learn.

*Location*

The role is based in New Braunfels, TX with about 50% travel.
