Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to join our Walla Walla team. The successful candidate will be responsible for working with their team to provide the highest quality of care for our patients. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others and have a strong foundation in physical therapy.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' conditions and develop/work on tailored treatment plans in collaboration with your interdisciplinary team.
Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises and training in the use of adaptive equipment.
Document patient progress in a timely manner and regularly update your team about patient's condition.
Engage in conversations with patients and their families to explain treatment plans, progress, and set achievable goals.
Pursue continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated with latest clinical skills and knowledge.
Stay up to date on required licensing.
Strictly adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements, including HIPAA and OSHA standards. Ensure adherence to our facility's policies and state regulations.

Qualifications _ (required to apply) _ :
Current state licensure as a PT/PTA.
Prior experience or an interest in geriatrics.
Team spirit and adept communication skills.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
Capability to lift and move patients and equipment as necessary.
