Plymouth Endodontics is in search of a Patient Care Coordinator who exhibits quality service, commitment, accountability, and excellence. Our specialty practice is built on integrity, quality, compassion, and putting the patient first.
The Patient Care Coordinator will be the first point of contact for the practice. This role provides administrative support to the practice and coordinates front-desk activities, including but not limited to distributing correspondence and answering phone calls. This position is in a dental practice setting that involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions.
The ESSENTIAL DUTIES of the Patient Care Coordinator include:
Providing friendly and patient centered customer service
Answering and making phone calls
Verifying patients' dental insurance
Entering appropriate data and documents into practice management software system
Following accounting/bookkeeping procedures
Collaboration with the clinical team - assisting doctors and clinical staff as needed
Participating in meetings and training sessions
Ensuring front desk is neat, presentable, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
Patient Care Coordinator QUALIFICATIONS:
Dental Front Office Experience: 1+ years preferred
Software skills - Microsoft Office, Outlook, Email, dental software (Endovision a plus)
ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with minimal supervision
Highly developed organizational and planning skills
