SOVAH Heart & Vascular Clinic (201 S Main Street, Suite 1100, Danville, VA)
Provides clinical support to patients in the outpatient clinic under the supervision of the physician. Provides continuity and appropriate car e to patients in accordance wit h applicable scope and standards.
Triages patients by phone and as walk-ins to clinic; Accesses computer for patient reports; prepares patient chart with pertinent medical information.
Performs office procedures; Performs various administrative duties, including answering phone patient calls, returning phone calls, receiving and sorting incoming faxes, completing forms as requested or needed.
Monitors, documents, and communicates patient's status and reactions to interventions with RN, physician, patient and families.
utilizes office and lab equipment for inpatient orders, lab tests.
SOVAH Health - Danville is a 250 bed hospital with the region's only designated Chest Pain Center & Certified Advanced Primary Stroke Center. We are an academic teaching site for residents, medical students, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists, and physician assistants.
