As a highly-skilled and compassionate ICU Nurse you will provide critical care expertise along with excellent patient care on our intensive care unit. You will be part of a team that pulls together to provide a quality patient care experience. 
Prioritize nursing care for assigned critically ill patients based on assessment data and identify needs for intervention.
Demonstrate appropriate decision making, critical thinking and clinical judgment to make nursing decisions and identify health care needs.
Evaluate and document each patient's response to medications, interventions, and procedures.
Assist in the formulation, coordination, and implementation of the patient's Plan of Care based on the assessment of their individual needs.
Ensure ventilator, monitors and other equipment are functioning properly. Demonstrate an ability to be flexible, organized, and function well under stressful situations.
Collaborate with fellow members of the critical care team.

1-2 years ICU nursing experience preferred
~ Associates degree in nursing required, Bachelor preferred
~ Must obtain ALS or ACLS is required within 6 months of hire or transfer into ICU.
~ TNCC is required within 18 months of hire or transfer into ICU.
~ Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC) is a full-service hospital with 318+ patient beds. Our hospital is the largest medical facility in the region. We serve southeast Idaho, western Wyoming, Yellowstone National Park, and parts of Montana. Our facility has an ER, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level 1 ICU (one of two in Idaho), and the only Burn Center in the state of Idaho. We have the region’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit for critically ill children. Our 74-bed Behavioral Health Center offers inpatient and outpatient mental health care for adolescents and adults.
