Agricultural Equipment Applicator

This position also operates all applicator equipment and performs maintenance on that equipment. This position requires a Class A CDL.  
Correctly mixes pesticides, fertilizers and chemicals for application.
Performs maintenance and calibration on application equipment.
Wears proper protection equipment.
Attends applicator equipment workshops.
Performs maintenance on other equipment and fixed facilities.
Must be able to work nights, overtime and some weekend hours during busy season.
Experience in operating large equipment is required.
Must be at least 18 years old to operate Helena equipment and/or drive a company vehicle. Positions requiring a CDL may have differing age requirements.
Class A CDL is required.
Other skills that will help you succeed:
Agricultural background.
Ability to read field maps and use tractor-mounted field computers.
Ability to pass a CDL physical examination.
Ability to work without direct supervision.
 
Temporary employees are eligible to participate in Helena's 401(k) Savings Plan. The work environment for this position is that of a typical outdoor setting in all types of weather conditions with exposure to outdoor elements. When working outdoors and possibly around moving equipment/mechanical parts, the employee may be exposed to fumes, airborne particles, chemical and biological hazards, vibrations and a risk of electrical shock.
