Albany Medical Center is seeking a Senior Organizational Development Specialist to join our Center for Excellence team The ideal candidate for our healthcare leadership learning and development specialist role will require previous acute care healthcare leadership experience and experience in
learning & development of leaders.
Dynamic organizational healthcare leader with experience in instructional design, program development, LEAN, and professional development coaching to work with leaders to develop themselves, their teams and manage the business of the healthcare organization to foster the mission and vision of the organization. Organizational Development Specialist will work as part of a collaborative team in a highly matrixed organization to meet the strategic priorities of the organization.
Responsible for training a diverse population within the healthcare industry. Maintaining data quality review and follow up remediation. Responsible for advancing the vision of Albany Med by conducting learning & development activities which accelerate performance and productivity promote employee engagement, and contribute to the retention of talent. 

Proficiency working with learning management systems and online training platforms. 
Strong facilitation and training skills in an interdisciplinary environment.
Ability to be self-directed in performance of duties
Demonstrates project management skills
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities/ projects to meet deadlines.
Highly flexible, adaptable, and resilient in face of change be able to deal with high volume, overlapping, and ambiguous requirements.
Highly poised and refined interpersonal skills (networks, builds relationships, and collaborates within and across teams).
Advanced critical thinking, organization, and planning skills necessary for this role. 

Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Organizational Development/Leadership, or related field.
Minimum 5 years experience in a learning & development, organizational development, or related role within the acute healthcare environment.
Practical experience using Learning theories, Instructional Design, interactive training and learning design, and e-learning design principles.
