Vishay Siliconix is currently seeking applicants for a Senior Director IC Design Engineering to join our growing team to develop integrated circuits at the heart of modern power systems. We are seeking a design engineering leader who can shape and manage a design team to develop advanced power management solutions that achieve market leading performance. This leader will be tasked with ensuring successful development of solutions by managing design efforts from concept stage through to production. A broad range of industry experience is desired, but specific experience in power management products for high-performance computing, automotive, or networking applications is most valuable.
In this position you will be a critical member of Vishay’s IC product group and will help to shape the future business by managing the team developing products that are the lifeblood of IC group’s revenue. You will lead a team of analog, digital and verification engineers empowered to develop advanced power management solutions.

The successful candidate will manage an experienced team to convert ideas into products and bring them to the market. This is a senior role providing the opportunity to create real impact within the organization and to define and develop the roadmap for the entire business.
Provide strategic direction and leadership to the design engineering team to guide the development of advanced analog and mixed-signal power management solutions.
Work closely with marketing and system applications teams to define product roadmap and new product architectures.
Drive mixed-signal development flow methodologies with analog, digital and verification engineers to minimize revisions and accelerate time-to-market.
Successfully develop and manage design team including career development and staff planning.
Work closely with R&D to develop roadmap and execution of MOSFET technologies needed for power management solutions.
10 + year experience in design leadership roles delivering advanced power management products
~ Expertise in multi-phase and POL switching regulator solutions for high performance computing market
~ Experience in managing geographically distributed team

Travel Required : Yes, 5-10% of the time to design locations and occasional customers.
