Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Type: Permanent

Job Duties:
* Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinic
* Standard rooming processes
* Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)
* Provide telephone support
* Facilitate communication between patients and providers
* Assist with medication refills
* Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
* Stocking supplies/rooms
* Perform EKGs

Job Requirements:
* A minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical setting - Required
* Previous Clinic Work - Highly Preferred
* EKG Experience - Preferred
* EHR Experience - Preferred
* Blood Draw Experience - Preferred
* Medical Assistant Diploma - Required
* MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
* BLS (AHA or ARC) – Required

Education:
* High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
* Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required, on the job experience or training, and participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam.- Required

Schedule:
* 80 Hours Per Pay Period
* 4-10 hours shift
* 07:00AM - 05:00PM
* Currently have two positions open so one would have Wednesday’s off and the other would have Tuesday’s Off

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
