This includes developing and conducting program activities for education and treatment related to substance abuse, as well as providing individual and group counseling sessions. The counselor is responsible for patient assessment and the development and implementation of Recovery Plans, within the company's standards.
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a social services related field.
Or Certified in the substance abuse field
Or Experience in the substance abuse field
Ability to work with computers
Ability to work with software used by the department.
Certified as a Counselor in Training under supervision or licensed in social work, counseling or psychology
