Supervises the daily activities and tasks of Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians related to fulfillment of prescription orders
Monitors operations of business unit and actively assists and provides direction to subordinates as required using standard policies, procedures and guidelines
Prioritizes and coordinates work, provides leadership to and reviews the work of assigned staff
Maintains and reviews most effective scheduling of staff to meet the needs and goals of business unit; assigns workload to staff to meet completion dates / deadlines
Prepares composite reports from individual reports of subordinates
Analyzes, researches and prepares various reports for management on assigned topics as needed
Interviews, hires new employees, ensures appropriate training, conducts performance reviews, counsels employees and takes appropriate disciplinary action
Interprets physicians' prescriptions and creates order, accesses, inputs, and retrieves prescription information from computer system
Work with peers / staff from other facilities to create, modify and ensure standardized procedures
Oversight of both home delivery and specialty staff and production

Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
~ 1+ years of experience leading, overseeing or supervising tasks / projects of pharmacy staff
~ Experience and ability to work with leadership, clinicians and able to develop effective working relationships with cross functional staff / departments
~ Solid understanding of state and federal laws regulations as they pertain to pharmacy
~ Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
~ Pharmacy automation experience
~CPR+ pharmacy dispensing platform
~ Solid analytics and planning capabilities
